Cny '10

Happy CNY everyone!! :)
As usual, on the first day of CNY, we'd need to wake up early to go down to the temple near our place to pray before we head down to my ah ma's place @ Redhill and then over to my popo's house in JB. Took some photos before we head out to the temple. Hate the face when we're just awake cause it's swollen and puffy :/

The traffic that day was really smooth! We managed to get to JB within 3omins from the custom as there wasn't any jam at all :D Photo-taking in the car as always. But the weather that day was a killer. Even when I'm inside the car, I was sweating, really bad weather in JB.

This year CNY seems to be a little more quiet than the past years. My other cousins weren't here as of some issue therefore they couldn't make it. Only cousin huxin was there with her brother. We managed to get the table from the adults to play mahjong. The first pot I wasn't having any luck at all. After the first pot, we had a rest, went to shower and have our dinner before we hit the second pot again. This time round, I was the biggest winner :)

This is the place,where we grew up from young. During every CNY or sch hols, we would always come back to my popo house. We'll hit the big field across the house, ride our bicycles to buy ice-cream, play with those fire crackers, play masa masa along the drain with my cousins. I miss those times man. It was really crowded and happening when we were all young but as we all grow up, popo's house seems to have quieten down.

Backtrack a little to th 12thfeb, met up with my pills over @ Zsofi bar located at Little India to celebrate my 20th as well as a catching up session for us! :) Miss those good old times in DMS days, now we're all in our different uni course pursuing our goals.

I met tiffy and brand over @ Bugis and we walked over to Zsofi together. Tiffy went to pick geraldine up while me and brand chilled there. We started to order some drinks while waitin for th other 4dudes to arrive.

Once amos arrived, I couldn't wait to pinch his chubby cheeks, that is how much I miss him. Hahaha.
Everyone managed to arrive by 9pm and we ordered alot of food. 1 mega platter, 2 pizzas and had alot of tepas!! The place is famous for foreigners who backpack. And they're well-known for their with every free alcoholic drink, it comes with a free tepas(finger food). How cool is that. In total, we had more than 10 drinks(thats for sure when the alcoholics are around) and we ate more than 10 tepas! :D Love their nacho chipss and their cheesy potato! :p We chilled with drinks, yummy food and awesome company and started to talk about how each of our lives has been. It's fun to always catch up with them! They never fail to make me laugh until my stomach cramps. Kaylie, was one of win's pri sch friend, met her at dlb O last yr when I was with the pills celebrating my 19th. She came along for the celebration that day and even got me a really sweet choco pizza with baileys and ice-cream as a birthday cake. She really got me and I got to say it was really sweet of her:)

The pills got me a really sexy red set of lingerie from La Senza. Inside the carrier, there was 2 more other small gifts which is too cheeky to be mentioned here so I just got to keep it to myself. Lol!

Aftermath, they still want to go for the 2nd round. So we hit LiquidGold @ Princep St. Ivan dropped us off there and left for movie with his girl while Geraldine had to hit home. With the alcoholics around, there's sure gonna be bottle. And I was right. I didn't had much that night as the stink of martell still lingers around my mouth ever since the clubbing night. So I just had a cup and then small sips after then. Sat around with Kaylie and got to know her more. She loves to backpack and do backpacking with her friends often. Thats something very cool and after hearing much about her experience, I'm keen to kick start that habit but first I need to complete my studies and earn enough to do that.

I had 3martells for my birthday this year. And the yellow scratches were the ones I got when I fell down into the drain after clubbing. Lol. Embarrassing much :/

I love you guys! Thanks for making my 20th birthday celebration an awesome one this year. I realise you guys will make the effort to plan a celebration on my birthday. I'm glad to have your with me. Though we're now in our different uni course pursuing our goals but i'm glad we still keep in touch with each other. Sometimes we whine about school tgt but im sure all of us can do it :D Thanks for the really lovely red set of lingerie and the kinky small gifts. Plus the handmade cards!!! Really love them! :D

Celebration with lovely girlfriends! :>

Met up with my girlfriends the very next day after we went clubbing the night before. God, I was really super duper tired due to clubbing last night plus I was gone :/ So when I was on the way down to meet them, I was practically dragging myself down, the bus was being a bitch that day. I was stuck in the expressway due to the jam for a good 1/2hr. When I finally alighted, I felt so relieved. Met up with some of them over @ Ion. G sis managed to get what she was looking for then we left to Swensens for dinner. Aftermath, we went over to Lucky Plaza to get a cab and off to Liang Court for partyworldddd :DD


When I saw my girls, so damn happy!!! :) Been soooo long since we all met up for ktv! As usual, we whined and complained about our job and also had a good time singing. Then they came in with a strawberry shortcake with candles lighted on it. I was really touched :)))


Thank you girlfriends! One of my wish was I wish that all my girlfriends(inclusive of aaron, wenhui, bin and ky) to be happy always and be blessed :)

To all my girlfriends, I love you girls alot!!!! You guys just make up part of my life and I cherish this friendship and hope to keep it going. We're jus the 6 of us. As long as we hold on strong, the bond will always be there. And even if our lives get so busy till we hardly have time for each other, we will still be there for each other :)

Okay, was ultra mega happy ytd cause I received my first birthday gift from fel, angel, nini, becca & sam! :DD They got me lingerie from my fav lingerie store; Triumph!

As for today, it's reserved for cottons. We're going down to O bar to party till 3 or 4am in the morning. It's really been quite some time since I partied. Shall enjoy myself totally tonight with them :) I'm sure it's gonna be a very awesome night cause I've all the awesome people with me celebrating my 20th in advance.

Going down to meet Alan and get my hair trimmed before I head down FEP to trim my eyebrows(cause they freaking look like shit now) and meeting bin in th evening for dinner and heading to check in @ night :)

Some days, I feel demoralized(wouldn't use the word useless so easily on myself anymore). When I flipped open my lecture notes, my mind literally goes blank for a moment or so. I'd be asking myself "wth have I been busy with nowadays again?" To the extend that I neglect my studies w/o me knowing. Initially when I was still contemplating whether I should go for UOL, half of me could foresee this scene happening and I was right about it. I get so influenced by my surrounding and people around me. I totally lack self discipline which I SHOULD have instilled in long ago, maybe 5months back when UOL started. Seriously disappointed with myself for being sucha loser sometimes when it comes to studies. I know I can do it but I just had to ruin it. Urgh, gets so frustrating. I really really(x a million) need to get myself more disciplined in '10!

Looking back, I wouldn't have achieved so many things in life w/o my parents around. They've been the world's greatest parents(ok, at least to me they are). They never fail to be there for me, support me through my studies and many other things, never giving up on be despite me turning rebellious 2yrs ago. I thank god for them. Without them, I wouldn't have achieved so far in life today.

I've seen many different types of people ard. Through these years, the true ones stays. There're people leaving my life too. Some of them left and came back too(which im really very very happy) and some never ever turn back. It's kinda of a happy and sad thing sometimes. But till now, I'm glad I've friends who're really true to me and be there for me to support me when I need them. Also, it was through recent yrs that made me not to trust people easily except for my very close friends. I just learnt to be more cautious towards people now.

And when I thought mayb love isn't a thing for me now, I met bin. It was kinda a no-one-expected-thing that we would end up together. For me, I totally didn't foresee it coming. Initially, I still had a hard time digesting the fact that I'd met someone so different from what I've always been looking for. At one point of time, I really couldn't accept it at all. but then many things made me changed my perception into accepting him and trying out this whole r/s. Well at the very least, i'm glad I could feel that he loves me whole-heartedly. Sometimes as we grow older, the expectations we've for our partner would not be as high as when we were 16or17rs old. Simple things like: knowing that he's someone who can be there when you need him and loves u whole-heartedly, it'll be more than enough.

Just realise many changes had taken place within these 2yrs. My life changed so much. To something more simpler but I'm much happier this way. Okays, I know I haven't been updating my space over here much. Been pretty tied down with work, sch, life and almost everything else. I've been trying my best to manage things in my life well. It gets to a point whereby things tend to slip my mind sometimes. If I do, im so sorry!! :<> After rushing through everything, lucky me managed to get everything done :p It's really not easy at all to be juggling between sch, work, life, friends and love. For now, school term is coming to an end and exams are just at the beginning. I really need to put in more effort in my self-study schedule this week. Need to start mugging through the night till 3am like what I used to do last time. For now, I'll backtrack a little on my life.


Saturday; AH MEI TE CONCERT!!!!
I wasn't at my best that night because my period came and this time round, it was kinda bad. My mood was totally affected and ked&twiny mon could see that I was totally affected and I wasn't at my best. But nevertheless, I still enjoyed myself alot! It was my first time going to a concert and I was pretty excited to hear Ah mei singing live. I can say, she didn't disappoint all of us who were present :) Her singing is still as power and I think she totally rock the house when she sings live! :DDD I'll definitely go for her next concert and get the most front seat! After the concert, we went Hk cafe @ Marine Sq for supper and ked dropped me home, thanks! Otw home, I called bin and wished him a happy 1mth. He was still in his sleepy voice, hahaha.


Sunday; Happy 1monthsary darling!


Bin brought me to "Domani" Cafe over @ Taka(which formerly used to be called Pastacafe). The food turned out to be very disappointing. The last time I came was when it was still called PastaCafe and the food variety was wide, standard wasn't that bad yet. Hmm, maybe it isn't to my liking. After the dinner we spent the whole day shopping around in town in hope of getting my CNY dress BUT I COULDN"T FIND ANYTHING! :<>


Yesterday(monday) was work and met G sis, estee and bin for dinner. Hunted around town for G sis's dad birthday gift. Then after Estee left, we head down to Indochine for a drink before Ky and Rebecca joined us after work. Trained down to Yishun and went chompang for tau huay. Got home around 1ish, showered and fell asleep while smsing bin.


Next week is gonna be a super busy week for me. I'll be hitting dlb O with cottons, ktv session with my sisters, drinking session with pills, CNY, then celebration with Bin and lastly celebration with twiny&co. Super tiring days ahead. Need to charge up now :) Till then!
